“No math gimmicks or spin can hide the fact that Senate Republicans’ budget proposal is a betrayal of everyday Americans that will kick millions off their health insurance and cause children to go hungry, all to pay for trillions in tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and corporations. This framework includes the House’s exact language, which forces hundreds of billions in cuts to Medicaid and other essential services, while handing out $5 trillion in tax breaks that overwhelmingly benefit the rich. The American people will hold Senate Republicans accountable if they vote for this harmful tax scam that puts billionaires over working families.”
